Tribe and Digital Industry Singapore (DISG) have partnered with NVIDIA to launch Ignition AI Accelerator, a global AI startup accelerator in Singapore. DISG is a joint office of the Economic Development Board, Enterprise Singapore, and Info-communications Media Development Authority.
The initiative aims to boost AI value discovery, create a thriving ecosystem for AI startups, and push the boundaries of AI capabilities. With an initial investment of US$3 million, the four-month program will kick off with 15 promising startups, equipping them with the necessary skills to launch their AI projects successfully.
NVIDIA and Tribe, in collaboration with Enterprise Singapore, will provide funding support to qualified AI startups through the Startup SG Tech scheme. The program includes training workshops covering the entire AI stack, from GPU to application-layer development framework. It also facilitates connections between startups and potential investors, accelerates their global market access, and helps them secure government projects and enterprise contracts.
Founders of new startups and AI leads of existing startups can apply to join the Ignition AI Accelerator. The program aims to capitalize on the growing AI market in Singapore, projected to exceed US$1 billion by 2024 and reach US$4.6 billion by 2030.
Ng Yiming, CEO of Tribe, shared: “The current surge in AI adoption calls for innovative solutions to unlock new growth opportunities and enhance operational excellence. By collaborating with NVIDIA and DISG, we aim to accelerate the development of AI solutions, foster industry integration, and capitalize on global opportunities within the AI landscape.”
