Banque Populaire de Mauritanie strengthens partnership with Azentio Software by implementing iMAL Business Intelligence

Azentio Software (“Azentio”) (www.Azentio.com), a leading end-to-end software company specializing in the BFSI sector, has announced that Banque Populaire de Mauritanie (“BPM”), one of the largest financial institutions in Mauritania, is now live with iMAL Business Intelligence (BI) (http://apo-opa.co/4cvpDBG) – a strategic BI platform that empowers banks to make more effective decisions, quicker. The solution’s advanced analytics will assist BPM in streamlining its data management processes and extracting valuable and relevant insights for data-driven business outcomes.

BPM’s growth depends on addressing multiple opportunities such as identifying high-margin revenue streams, innovating Islamic banking products, reducing customer churn, enhancing customer-centricity, and capitalizing on high-growth opportunities. The insights from data will provide BPM with essential data crucial to their success, offering real-time insights and significantly improving analysis, storage, and data collection.

iMAL BI offers a range of customized interactive reports, dashboards, and data visualization options to recognize trends, patterns, and insights for taking effective and proactive actions. BPM will gain a comprehensive view of data from various platforms and departments, enhancing collaboration and communication within the organization.

Since 2012, BPM has been using iMAL, a leading Islamic core banking platform, as it expanded operations into universal banking. The platform has continuously supported BPM’s growth, enabling the delivery of innovative products and services to meet evolving customer needs while adhering to Sharia values.

Limam Ebnou, CEO of BPM, stated, “BPM has continuously strived to lead in our markets and with our customers. Azentio’s expertise and business know-how have played a crucial role in this journey, and we are proud to continue growing our relationship with them. We selected iMAL BI for its advanced data mining, benchmarking, analytical, and visualization capabilities to empower our teams with the data needed for decision-making that drives real change.”

Sanjay Singh, Group CEO of Azentio, commented, “We are pleased with our longstanding partnership with the top Islamic bank in Mauritania. BPM has transformed the banking sector in the region by rethinking their approach across business, technology, and operations. Through iMAL BI, our aim is to provide them with the tools to access the right data at the right time, reshaping business and driving growth while enhancing operational efficiency. The platform will equip BPM with cutting-edge problem-solving capabilities to reduce inefficiencies and enhance customer engagement practices.”
