Dr. Bawumia urges Faith-Based Organisations to Support Ghana’s Manifest Destiny by Working Together

Vice President Bawumia has emphasized the importance of faith-based organizations working together with the government to achieve Ghana’s development goals. He stated that owning the national vision and collaborating with key stakeholders are essential steps in moving the nation forward.

Speaking at the 2nd Biennial Joint Conference of the East, West and Mid Ghana Conference of the AME Zion Church, Dr. Bawumia highlighted the significance of crafting national goals collectively and relying on relevant knowledge and experience.

He challenged Christians to reflect on their impact on national development and encouraged them to complement prayer with diligent work, personal cleanliness, and respect for the environment.

Dr. Bawumia commended the AME Zion Church for its contributions to healthcare, education, advocacy, and promoting social justice in Ghana. He expressed confidence in the country’s potential for greatness and urged unity and open dialogue for accelerated development.

Rt. Rev. Dr. Hilliard K. Dela Dogbe urged Ghanaians to reject divisive politics and emphasized the importance of choosing leaders without causing conflict.

As the country moves towards transformation, he called for peaceful and inclusive political processes.
