A delegation from Société Nationale des Pétroles du Congo (SNPC), the national oil company of Congo, visited Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, led by Managing Director Mr. Maixent Raoul OMINGA. During their visit, they held discussions with Mr. Ashat KHASSENOV, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kazakhstan’s national oil and gas company, KMG (KazMunayGas).
The meeting allowed the executives to discuss the latest developments and challenges in their companies’ activities. They explored potential cooperation in areas such as international oil and gas trading, training, and human capital development.
Both parties were pleased with the discussions and identified common strategic interests. Mr. Maixent Raoul OMINGA stated, “This visit was highly productive and marks the beginning of a promising collaboration between SNPC and KazMunayGas. Together, we will create new opportunities for sustainable development in our oil and gas sectors.”
They agreed to establish working teams to finalize a cooperation agreement focusing on knowledge exchange, commercial partnerships, and joint initiatives for the sustainable development of their oil and gas activities.
