Dubai Internet City illuminates the potential of collaborative innovation in driving worldwide technological transformation through Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Dubai Internet City demonstrates local entrepreneurial excellence at GITEX Africa (www.GITEXAfrica.com) in Morocco. This influential tech hub has been leading the digital transformation in the Middle East for 25 years.

Dubai Internet City emphasizes the importance of collaboration in fostering innovation that leverages emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (AI). As the leading technology hub in the region, it showcases the successes of entrepreneurs from its ecosystem at GITEX Africa, held in Morocco from 29-31 May.

As part of TECOM Group PJSC, Dubai Internet City has spearheaded the digital transformation in the region by bringing together over 3,500 industry leaders, including Google, Microsoft, VISA, and MasterCard. This collaboration has resulted in globally impactful innovations.

The legacy of Dubai Internet City showcases how co-creation can drive AI-enabled economic growth, guided by strategic visions such as Dubai Economic Agenda ‘D33’ and the newly launched Dubai Universal Blueprint for AI (DUB.AI). This collaboration aims to create lasting value for future generations worldwide.

Dubai Internet City has brought together over 29,000 professionals and entrepreneurs who collaborate, connect, and innovate within its ecosystem. It is home to global tech brands like Google, 3M, and Microsoft, as well as startups and innovators from around the world. African companies like Neulink, Nile.com from Egypt, and TravelStart from South Africa are also part of Dubai Internet City.

As the ‘Business Acceleration Partner’ of GITEX Africa, Dubai Internet City will provide networking and educational opportunities led by success stories from its ecosystem. These include companies like Grambell, Sprinklr, Abcurr Entrepreneurial Institute, and Twyn.

Dubai Internet City’s participation in GITEX Africa follows its successful involvement as the Innovation Partner of GITEX Global in October 2023.
