Having no regrets is like taking a calculated risk in Web3, where outcomes are uncertain. Success was not guaranteed, and unforeseen severe side effects were experienced. Embracing failure and its consequences is part of the journey.

Adjusting to challenges, like hiring a caregiver during confinement, was a humbling experience post-cancer diagnosis. Tasks once taken for granted now require assistance, shifting the perspective on disability.

Despite the challenges, Malaysia’s disability-friendly environment contrasts with the limitations faced in the author’s native Philippines. Accepting the uncontrollable aspects of cancer, the focus shifts to making meaningful memories with loved ones.

In times of adversity, prioritizing relationships and remembering the impact on loved ones provides grounding. Cultivating a sense of humor, like finding joy in small moments, helps cope with the struggles of cancer treatment.

Navigating the uncertainties of MEITL and its evolving treatment approaches highlights the resilience needed to adapt to unexpected outcomes. Accepting the plot twists and uncertainties becomes a way of life.

Finding purpose and meaning, rather than just fleeting happiness, is emphasized as a core value. Building a supportive community in Web3 that advocates for kindness, collaboration, and authenticity reflects the desire to create a meaningful impact.

The narrative shifts towards a vision of a better future through Web3, where decentralization can empower individuals and bridge societal divides. The aspiration to contribute positively to this evolving digital landscape remains steadfast, despite the challenges of cancer.
