Infrastructure Africa and African Infrastructure Developers Association (AfIDA) are thrilled to introduce the Project Deal Room. This dynamic hub brings together project developers, investors, financiers, and stakeholders to showcase infrastructure project opportunities and drive success rates and project execution speed crucial for Africa’s sustainable development. The Project Deal Room is an integral part of AfIDA’s Catapult Accelerator.
- Facilitating Project Collaboration:
The Projects Deal Room aims to foster collaboration and attract investment in essential infrastructure projects across Africa. Both private and public sector project developers can present their initiatives, while investors and financiers can explore potential investment opportunities aligned with their strategies.
- Structured Presentation Sessions:
Each of the eight project developers will have an hour slot, including a 20-25 minute presentation and a 35-40 minute Q&A session with mentors and the audience. This structured approach provides a comprehensive understanding of each project’s scope, impact potential, and investment requirements.
- AUDA-NEPAD Nominations and Call for Developers:
Three projects have been nominated by AUDA-NEPAD, showcasing the caliber and relevance of initiatives in the Projects Deal Room. Additionally, a call for five other infrastructure project developers from across Africa is open, welcoming participation from energy and infrastructure developers in any stage or sub-sector.
Projects in various sectors such as energy, water, transport, digital-ICT, urban development, and cities will be featured at the Projects Deal Room, reflecting the forum’s commitment to addressing Africa’s infrastructure needs comprehensively and promoting sustainable development across multiple sectors.
- Encouraging Collaboration and Innovation:
The Projects Deal Room acts as a catalyst for collaboration and innovation, bringing stakeholders from the infrastructure ecosystem together to exchange ideas, form partnerships, and drive impactful initiatives that advance Africa’s development agenda.
