Menopause is no longer a topic to be ignored in the workplace. MenoMove, a project led by Business Engage Association NPC, aims to bring menopause awareness to the forefront of corporate culture. Supported by Liberty Two Degrees (L2D) and Life Healthcare, this initiative seeks to create an environment of empathy and support for employees navigating menopause.
According to Amelia Beattie, Chief Executive of L2D, menopause is not just a women’s issue but a human issue that requires a shift towards inclusivity and understanding in the workplace. By openly discussing and supporting menopausal women, companies can empower their female employees to succeed at any stage of their lives.
Recognizing the impact of menopause on women’s health, MenoMove is challenging corporate norms by normalizing conversations about menopause and providing resources for individuals and corporations. This initiative aims to break the stigma surrounding menopause and create a more productive and inclusive workplace culture.
