Situated between Kruger National Park and Blyde River Canyon, the hotel is located 2km outside of Hoedspruit in the Limpopo province and just 20 minutes from Eastgate Airport.
Offering stunning views of the Drakensberg mountains, Radisson Safari Hotel Hoedspruit is surrounded by a variety of immersive activities. Guests can partake in safari adventures to see local wildlife, go horseback trekking, or enjoy the landscape from a hot air balloon.
The hotel offers a range of room types, from standard rooms with garden and mountain views to Premium Suites featuring private pools and outdoor seating areas. With a modern Scandinavian design, the 138 rooms and suites use natural materials and earthy colors to pay tribute to its African surroundings.
With three restaurants on-site, guests can enjoy a variety of cuisines and dining experiences. The thatched roof restaurant, Mirage, offers South African and Lebanese-inspired cuisine with a wrap-around deck and access to a sunbathing area and pool. Pegasus restaurant serves Mediterranean, Italian, Mexican, and American-inspired dishes alongside an adults-only swimming pool. The Boma restaurant offers popular African delicacies and a unique outdoor dining experience.
Tim Cordon, Chief Operating Officer of Radisson Hotel Group, expressed excitement about the opening of the hotel and the completion of the Golden Triangle Safari offering. General Manager, Charles McCarthy, also shared his enthusiasm for the combination of hospitality and safari-inspired setting.
The hotel’s Amani Spa, featuring a planter roof and views of the surrounding grasslands, offers a tranquil and rejuvenating escape. Guests can enjoy pampering treatments, a health bar, and a 24-hour fitness center. The hotel also boasts versatile meeting and event spaces, including different meeting venues and a main banquet hall that can accommodate up to 200 guests.
