Taylor Swift has traveled all over the world as part of her record-breaking Eras Tour, and now she might be making a 5,500-mile journey from Tokyo to Las Vegas to watch her boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs play in the Super Bowl.
Kansas City will be making its fourth Super Bowl appearance in five years after winning the AFC Championship Game, and Swift has been a regular at Kelce’s games since they started dating. She is expected to be at the big game, but the travel schedule to get there will be a challenge.
Despite the potential challenges, Swift has a chance of making it. The 17-hour time difference between Tokyo and Las Vegas works in her favor, and she could arrive with plenty of time to spare.
Assuming she performs in Tokyo on Feb. 10, Swift would have to leave right after the show to make it to Las Vegas in time for the Super Bowl. She owns two private jets, one with a longer range that could make the trip in around 10 hours.
However, landing slots in Las Vegas during Super Bowl weekend are limited, and Swift’s team may have to have made prior arrangements to secure access. Alternatively, she could fly to Los Angeles and drive the remainder of the way to Las Vegas.
Despite potential logistical challenges, Swift might still be able to make it to Las Vegas on time for the game, giving her plenty of opportunities for pregame activities or much-needed sleep.
